https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NzY5s2Az0G8 The Wunga Posse has been ripping San Pedro's Channel Street skatepark to shreds for years. The DIY skatepark that sits underneath the 110 freeway has brought together a massive family of local and seriously talented skaters including, Robbie Russo, Ronnie Sandoval, and Oscar Navarro. The Wunga Posse recently put out their newest skate video, "Death Trip," which features skaters, Brandon Meyers, Graham Bentz, Riley Stevens, Oscar Navarro, Robbie Russo, Ronnie Sandoval, Daniel Googz, Nick Salgudo, Evi, Mark Ostrom, Josh Escudero, Jimmy Villalobos, Rick Fabro, and a gang of other Channel St. skaters.
The video which was filmed and edited by Lorenzo Torres and Carlos Vargas, has a particularly well-fashioned soundtrack thanks to DJ Don Cesar, and was released last weekend via a premiere party in San Pedro. "Death Trip" is a just over 30-minute video of straight up raw skating and infinite clips of Pedro's finest thrashing terrain from Channel St. to backyard pools to local school yards. It's all mostly shot through Torres and Vargas' fisheye lens and offers some fun clips of Russo being surprised with his first pro board for Antihero and the whole Wunga Crew hanging out on their home turf.
